“Joy has made significant accomplishments throughout her four years of high school. She has been an honor roll student for all four years and was accepted into our school’s National Honor Society last December as a junior. Joy takes school very seriously and pushes herself to achieve at the highest level. It comes as little surprise that Joy was chosen to be a part of our school’s Cyber Challenge program. this program requires students to use math and science skills to collaborate on a way to improve the earth. She was part of a team that presented their idea at the Science Center in Hartford to business executives and her team’s design won the entire competition. She is the kind of student that teachers hope for.” – Jillian Piedescalzo, Spanish Teacher
