Checklist

Thank you for your interest in the Young Christian Leaders Scholarship Program. Please be sure you have read through the purposes of this scholarship as well as the guidelines for applying. Apart from including as much detail as possible about your academic and service accomplishments, it is important the application you submit has all of the required items in order to be considered. Take a moment to review this checklist before sending your application.

HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS or FULL TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS must submit:

Completed scholarship application form.
For both high school seniors and current full-time college students, please enclose most recent transcript.
For college students, an official class schedule from registrar and proof of enrollment.
Copy of acceptance letter from college/university.
A hi-res picture of the applicant (.jpg or .tiff file) on a CD
Two letters of recommendation or endorsement. Applicants must submit two (2) letters of recommendation (recommenders cannot be related to applicants):
  • One letter of recommendation from the Pastor, Youth Pastor, Youth Director, Sunday School Superintendent, or elder.
  • The second letter of recommendation must be from a current/ former teacher, guidance counselor, principal who knows the academic capabilities of the applicant. Include the two (2) letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes with your completed application.
